At Simulated Virtual Driver our motto is “We’re in the business of saving lives”. We take our motto quite seriously, just as seriously as we take the horrific national statistics involving traffic injuries and deaths. We regrettably provide the follow statistics with a particular emphasis upon the young new drivers. Simply put, whatever we are doing now to teach our young to drive is not working. The numbers are bad and getting worse:

  • Auto crashes are the number one killer of teenagers for the past 10 years
  • Only 32 states require a learners permit prior to issuing a drivers license
  • On average, 42,000 people are killed every year in car accidents, 6,000 are teens
  • During a 16 year olds first year of driving, 1 in 5 boys and 1 in 10 girls will have an accident
  • 15 to 20 year olds represent 6% of the population but 14% of auto fatalities
  • The chances of a teen having an accident increase 100% with each additional passenger
  • School sponsored Drivers Ed Courses are being reduced or eliminated due to cost
  • 68,000 teens have died in auto accidents in the last 10 years and while the number of boys killed has declined slightly, the number of girls is increasing.
  • 41% of all fatal crashes occur at night

Our goal is to provide our clients with additional tools in the fight to save lives. Our simulators offer a safe, alternative environment to develop safe driving habits by practicing collision avoidance techniques and making mistakes… without the dangers of real-life collisions or injuries.

A few more statistics:

  • $875.Average premium rate surcharge for accident
  • $3175.Average collision auto repair
